Creating the perfect brows rely on a few key things:
- Distance between the eyes - Facial Features
- Bone Structure
- Personal Preference
I'm going to reveal a little magic here today, creating the perfect brow is not impossible and you do not have to be a wizard! All that you need are these simple tips to achieve the beautiful brows that you've always dreamt of... follow closely!
1. Measure your brows before applying your brow makeup. We in the Semi-Permanent Makeup industry like to call this "Brow Mapping", and it really is very simple. Take a look at the diagram below*
See the letters? - Point A is referencing to the start of your perfect brow, line up a pencil or thin makeup brush to the edge of your nostril, right up to the tear duct- where this line falls is the ideal place your brow should start. - Point C is the end of your eyebrow. Again, line up a pencil or thin makeup brush to the edge of your nostril, right through to the outer corner of your eye, where this line falls is the place your eyebrows should end. - Point B is the arch or the peak of your eyebrow, this is what most people typically struggle to locate. Line from the outer edge of your iris, vertically down, this is where the arch should be drawn. - Point D is the angle your eyebrows should be at. Notice how the front and tail of your brows should be sat at the same height, with the arcH sightly above? This is where a little personal preference comes into play, dependant on whether you prefer a flat brow or a heavily arched brow, have a little play around and see what suits your facial structure and style.
Voila! The perfect brow has been mastered!
